Vestry

The Vestry is an elected group of parishioners who are responsible for overseeing and supporting the mission and governance of the church. According to the Canons of the Diocese of East Carolina, “The Vestry shall act as the Trustees of the Parish, shall take charge of the property of the Parish, and shall regulate the temporal concerns of the Parish.” At St. Francis we have seven vestry members who serve for a three year term and are elected at our Parish’s Annual Meeting.
